Computer Maintenance

Caring Computer particular CPU will usually only be done after the event of a complaint or damage.this seems less appropriate. In its usage should be doing maintenance on a regular basis at both the CPU and monitor. Actually there are some fundamental things that we often forget to do with how to care for a computer that actually can cause damage to the computer.

First seen from the corner of Hardware:

A. Dust concentration in the device in the CPU and Monitor.
Especially on computers (PCs) which are placed in open space. High concentration of dust will cause the socket connection peripherals disrupted. Also during the rainy season or the temperature of the dust will absorb moisture and water vapor is much like a conductor who can connect short (konsleting). It also resulted in PCB insulator layer peeled off, causing corrosion on copper lines. If this happens, the computer maintenance will be more difficult because there is no way other than replacing peripherals ..
B. Cooling.
In some types of computers, especially older computer has a processor temperature is high enough but has a way of cooling, which I feel is still lacking.
C. Harddrive space is not proportional.

80GB hard drive size of course is not proportional if there are only two partitions each 40GB C and D.Whereas the use of System C, not more than 10 GB.Installation of peripherals are less fit or less solid.Usually this happens on a PC local assemblies.Often means motherboard or other peripherals installation with screws that are incomplete or less taut. This is often overlooked in the way of caring for your computer and can be fatal.
D. Power Supply Conditions.

This is often overlooked when we take care of the attention of the computer. On the use of long, most of the power supply will experience cracks at solderan components.Power Capacity Inadequate Power Supply.
E. Not Using Stavolt.
Many people underestimate the use stavolt and election type and quality stavoltRoom temperature. Room temperature is ideal for PC around 19 degrees Celsius.
F. Electricity is often drop / dead or less power.
This will cause the computer to die suddenly without Shutdown process.
G. The physical condition of lead solder in PCBs (particularly in Monitor).
Most monitors damage caused by tin solder in PCB cracks or loose due to age and heat generated during usage. It's also almost certainly overlooked in how to care for your computer or a computer or PC maintenance tips.

Both from the point of Software:

1. Inappropriate OS, applications and volumes of data with computer specifications used.
2. Often use the computer for the heavyweight games, running games on the PC will generate a lot of space-space fragment and temporary files that slow computer performance.
3. The existence of viruses can cause slow access on a computer and damaging the system or data.Even in extreme conditions can cause the computer freezes / hangs. When it freezes there is no other way than pressing the restart button on the CPU. This often happens automatically when the CPU often die without process shutdown which means it will shorten the life of a computer hard drive in particular. Usually the virus is transmitted through the flash and the Internet for PCs which is often connected to the Internet. In addition, the selection of inappropriate anti-virus also can affect computer performance.

By knowing the things above then needs to be done to anticipate how to care for a computer or a computer or PC maintenance tips in total as follows:
1. Clean the dust off the motherboard and other peripherals on the CPU with a paintbrush in medium and small size for corners and narrow gaps. Do well on the power supply by opening the casing / box power supply first.
2. Use high pressure air (compressor) so that peripherals really clean from dust. Or simply with Hair Dryer (hair dryer). But remember set at a low temperature so that peripherals do not melt.
3. Remove and reattach the socket-plug peripherals. This is to ensure a perfect connection at the connector-plug peripherals, enough once every PC maintenance.

4.
Contact Cleaner Do not use the liquid in the wash-socket connector for peripherals such wrong way.Contact Cleaner difficult fluids (very long) dry and very easy to make dust adhere.
5. Notice how the installation of motherboard and other peripherals, are there any screws that are still inadequate or lax.
6. Customize your OS and applications with computer specifications and do not store data on the hard drive is too big. This will aggravate the performance of your PC.
7. Make your hard drive partition that is proportional. For example 80GB Hard Disk Space Used C with no more than 5GB would be better if we created three partitions with 10GB for C, 35GB and 35GB for D to E. Accordingly access to the System and will be faster loading of data.
8. Do not use the PC for serious games unless your computer is designed for the Game.
9. Use appropriate and always Antivirus Update, Update every day if necessary, with updated antivirus that is always going to soften in the care of the computer.
10. Stavolt Use good quality, cheap and lots of cheap stavolt can only anticipate the Unstable voltage electricity. Choosing stavolt with Servo Motor has good stabilization. But there is also a good Stavolt Relay system but it is very difficult to obtain.
11. Use Air Conditioning for your PC or if not possible can be compensated by way of installation and Cooling Fin Fan Extras Coolling processor when the temperature is too high above 36 degrees Celsius, this typically occurs in older computers.
12. At certain times do Defragment Hard Drive to rearrange the order of the files so that computer performance is lighter, but not too often.
13. Perform Installation of OS and application reset if necessary. Thoroughly re-installation once in a year does not seem excessive for a refresher every system, especially if we want a system upgrade (eg from XP-SP1 to XP-SP2 or XP-SP3).
14. Perform removal or Remove data or applications if not effective (never used).
15. Frequently cleaning the Temporary files, Prefetch files, files Chokies and junk files in the Recycle Bin.
16. Always do backup on data considered important, you can mengcopynya on the CD. This is to anticipate, if at any time exposed to a virus attack or fatal damage on the hard drive.
17. Try your electricity does not drop / die during computer work. If you need to increase the power of your home or better yet, if you are equipped with UPS so that if a sudden power failure there is still time to save data and Shutdown the computer.
18. Do not be too long to let your computer do not use (never turned on at all in a long time). At least a minimum of every day the computer is turned on approximately 1 to 2 hours. This is to warm the inside of the CPU to be free from humidity.
19. Do not expose the computer from shock, vibration and pounding especially when the computer is running, this is very dangerous because it can cause fatal damage to the hard drive.
20. Do not hesitate to call a computer technician to perform maintenance on your computer, if you feel unable to do so.

Steps How to take care Computer can be done periodically according to a computer and environmental conditions. Usually the computer that requires immediate care have symptoms such as access beginning to slow, frequently freezes / hangs, often scanning the C drive every time the computer is turned on, blue screen memory, bobolnya Antivirus, Application Frequently error or do not walk according to its function, and anythingother things that lead users begin to feel uncomfortable with the performance of their computer.
1. Steps to clean Prefetch Files:
Sign in Explorer - Log C: / Windows / Prefetch - Select All (Ctrl-A) - Dell
2. Steps to clean Temporary Files:
Sign in Explorer - Log C: / Windows / Temp - Select All (Ctrl-A) - Dell
After these two steps above do not forget to clean up trash in the Recycle Bin file2 way Right-click the Recycle Bin - Click on Empty Recycle Bin - Click Yes ...
3. While cleaning the files Chokies:
You can use ccleaner software.
Chokies files will appear with each of us connect to the internet. The more we often connect to the Internet either to browse, download or upload, the more files Chokies, if you connect to the Internet every day, clean Chokies files at least once or twice a week.

Perform computer maintenance is very troublesome, but if we do will have great impact on the performance of your computer usage and age.
